Travelog for: Greedy

Starting out with a hearty Full English, Greedy hoped this was the shape of things to come...

Everyone went for a walk in the countryside.

Greedy offered to guard the picnic till everyone else came back.

You can probably guess the rest. 

Though the ice-cream was slightly smaller than he would have liked, Greedy made do.

Having eaten his guardian out of house and home, Greedy was looking forward to his next stop.  Secretly he hoped there wouldn't be a lock on the fridge door at the new place.

Greedy just arrived in Vienna today! He's doing fine, a bit tired from the trip and he was soooo hungry when he arrived! He already had a lot of food here (I'll post some photos during the next days) and he has many tasty things to try before him!!!

Greedy is having a delicious time here in Austria! He already tried some Chocolate fondue and a very delicious meal called "Schinkenfleckerl", have a look!

Yesteday the family went to a restaurant with him and we all ordered different (and typical) dishes. Unfortunately the camera had a breakdown when the meal was served, so no photos of Greedy eating in the restaurant. But we'll repeat that during the next days!!

Greedy also did some sightseeing in Vienna. He has been at Schönbrunn Palace and also saw the Austrian Parliament. So far he's really having a great time and he enjoys everything he gets to eat here!

So, finally I can send you the photos from me in Austria!

Here you can see me eating a special kind of pasta - "Schinkenfleckerl"

And since I didn't feel full enough I had a little Chocolate fondue afterwards...

They have wonderful sweets here in Austria! So you can see me here trying "Topfenpalatschinken", "Marillenknödel" (filled with apricots) and even the kids were so kind to share their ice-cream with me...

They also made a "Kaspressknödel-Suppe" for me, a soup which is very typical for the area near Salzburg (the kids' Dad went there and brought it with him). And of course I got a Schnitzel, an absolute "must" here in Vienna!

Greedy's next stop after Vienna was Brasilia.  He has not been heard from for a while - I am classing him as 'Missing, presumed enormous'.

One day we may hear back from him.  I have missed him and his glutenous ways. 

Anyway I wondered whether it might be possible to keep his travelog going by growing a cloned version of Greedy in a plant pot using a DNA sample.  It sounded feasible so I thought I would give it a try. 

Hmm.  Take one plant pot, add DNA and earth.  Put on shelf.  Observe periodically.

Then...

Later...

Wait until subject looks ready to go...

... then place in familiar environment.
